Access to Justice: Cases of Business Human Rights Abuses

Access to justice and effective remedy have become a crucial element in the protection of human rights within the context of business activities, as well as an area of fundamental importance to judges and lawyers who aim to promote the rule of law and human rights.
Although Colombian regulations contain a wide range of actions and resources aimed at preventing the abuses of constitutional rights by companies, the judicial system has several faults that make many of these mechanisms ineffective. Paradoxically, most exceptional judicial mechanisms work well, but ordinary justice has serious problems.
