Legislators formed the Congressional Women’s Caucus during the legislative period 2006-2010. This text seeks to give visibility to this process through the reconstruction of its history, challenges, and achievements.
During the legislative period 2006-2010, the Congressional Women’s Caucus was formed. In this meeting all the congressmen came together, with the common purpose of working for the rights of women. Despite its potential to promote legislative projects related to these rights and the achievements it has had, the bench has been poorly studied and its work poorly documented.
