This book looks at the contribution of discussion, comprehension and improvement of the abilities of Colombian judges in the interpretation of the Constitution, their direct application to the resolution of the political, social and legal conflicts that confronts the country and that arrive at their doorstep.

Some of the specific objectives of this book are to promote the utilization and technical appointment of the precedent, by comparison to their uses and anti-technical appointments; analyze the question of interpretation of constitutional text by means of interpreting the constitutional precedent, as well as fortify the abilities for identification and application of the binding legal principle upon which the decision in new cases is founded.
