Judges Without the State

Mauricio García Villegas | November 5, 2008

This book is the outcome of a research made in Colombia between 2005 and 2007 on judges working in armed conflict zones in Colombia.

This book is the result of research carried out in Colombia between 2005 and 2007 on the work of the courts in armed zones in Colombia. Three areas were studied: Putumayo in southern Colombia; Urabá in the northwest and the south of Bolivar in the north of Colombia. More than 30 interviews were conducted. The information obtained in the interviews was contrasted with statistical information on the work of the justice, taken from official institutions.

The electronic copy of this book is not available.
