The book presents the results of the first national research project dedicated to the analysis of the ruling of the Colombian Constitutional Court C-579 of 2013 on the “Legal Framework for Peace”. This judgment evaluated the constitutionality of Legislative Act 1 of 2012, which, by incorporating transitional article 66 into the Colombian Constitution, granted constitutional status to transitional justice mechanisms. The book analyzes various aspects of this important sentence that determined the feasibility of article 1, paragraph 4, of the said Legislative Act.
