Alejandro Jiménez
Alejandro holds a degree in Law, a post-graduate diplomma (especialización) in Constitutional Law, and a Master’s Degree in Law with a concentration on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law. Alejandro teached the transitional justice class at Universidad de los Andes and was a teaching assistant at Universidad del Rosario and Universidad Nacional.
Currently Alejandro coordinates the transitional justice research team at Dejusticia. His research interests relate with victims’ rights; the design and implementation of transitional justice mechanisms; the fight against impunity, and the intersection between constitutional and international law in transitional justice issues.
