I am a lawyer from the Tecnológica del Chocó “Diego Luis Córdoba” University, and a specialist in Human Rights Education from the Católica Lumen Gentium – UNICATÓLICA University Foundation. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Citizenship and Human Rights at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. I have worked as a consultant for the USAID Justice for Sustainable Peace and Inclusive Justice Programs for the investigation and clarification of Gender Based Violence cases for the Attorney General’s Office. I have been also a lawyer for Justicia Mujer, and for the Heartland Alliance International in association with the United Nations High Commissioner for the Refugees (UNHCR). I have also served as a lawyer in the Black, Afro-Colombian, Raizales and Palenqueras communities Affairs Directorate (DACN) of the Ministry of Interior and in the Management of Rural Public Goods Direction of the Agriculture Ministry and Rural Development.
