Carlos is a lawyer, master and doctoral candidate in law from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. For more than a decade he has worked as a researcher, teacher and consultant in areas related to collective and environmental rights, as well as in the design and management of research projects focused on the resolution of environmental conflicts. His experience includes legal accompaniment of peasant organizations in rural territories and his work in the Collective and Environmental Rights Research Group of the National University.
She currently has research interests in the use of information technologies as a tool to solve environmental conflicts and in the analysis of the dogmatic transformations of territorial property law in the 21st century. At Dejusticia she coordinates the research line on peasantry and land.
