Diana Guarnizo Peralta holds a Ph.D. in Law and an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex. She is a lawyer and specialist in Constitutional Law from the National University of Colombia; she also has studies in Women’s Human Rights from the University of Chile. Before joining Dejusticia, Diana served as a Rómulo Gallegos Fellow at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and as a consultant and researcher for the Ombudsman of Colombia, OXFAM, Reddres, and the Colombian Commission of Jurists, among other organizations. She is an expert in social rights and in the use of legal tools to solve global health, food and equity problems. She currently heads the Economic Justice line at Dejusticia.
