Evanjelina is an Adivasi (indigenous) activist, belonging to Kharia, Oraon and Munda communities from Odisha, India. She is a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Mumbai and has previously worked with international non-profit organizations.

She is the founder of Adivasi Now, an organization which is working towards redirecting media and communication spaces for better representation of indigenous communities, and strengthening Adivasi and environment politics in India through policy intervention. Her core interest lies in ‘indigenising spaces’ for improving Human Rights.

At Dejusticia, she is a Communications Area fellow.
