Flavio Ayuso López is a law graduate, originally from the Mayan people of Muna, Yucatán, and since 2018 he has carried out with various organizations and groups in community processes for the defense of territory and natural resources. He has accompanied different communities of Yucatán, like legal processes under the participatory and strategic litigation scheme, as a form of defense against the imposition of neo-extractivist megaprojects.
He is very interested in the Multicultural Rights of Indigenous Peoples, their relationship with the land and the processes surrounding the defense of the territory.
He is currently pursuing a degree in Sociology at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
