Isabel Cristina is a lawyer from Universidad de los Andes, and has a master’s degree in justice and rights protection with an emphasis on procedural law from the Universidad Externado de Colombia. Her main areas of interest are gender studies, constitutional law, and procedural law.

Before joining Dejusticia, she was a member of “Programa de Acción por la Igualdad y la Inclusión Social – PAIIS” at Universidad de los Andes, and a visiting professional at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. Isabel Cristina is currently a senior researcher in the litigation area.
