Johnattan holds a Law degree from Universidad de los Andes and an MPH degree in Global Health from Harvard University. He currently works as a principal researcher in the area of Economic Justice. He is also Adjunct Lecturer on Law and Global Health at Universidad de los Andes School of Law and Visiting Scientist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Before joining Dejusticia, he worked as a research assistant at the Harvard Takemi Program in International Health, was an intern at the Center for Global Development in Washington and at the World Health Organization in Kobe, Japan, and Researcher at the Group of Epidemiology –Epiandes– of the Universidad de los Andes School of Medicine. Johnattan was also coordinator and co-founder of the Environment and Public Health Clinic of Universidad de los Andes School of Law and Consultant for the Director of Medicines and Health Technologies of the Colombian Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
