Juan Sebastián earned an LLB and a B.A. in Philisophy from the Universidad de los Andes, and currently holds the position of assistant reseacher in the Judicial System area of ​​Dejusticia. His research focuses on access to justice and human rights in the judicial system, focusing primarily on criminal law, state criminal policy and the prison system in Colombia.
