Sofía Forero Alba is a political scientist and lawyer. She holds a master ‘s degree in Law, Government and Justice Management from Universidad de los Andes. She also holds an advanced diploma in Security, Violence and Democracy from the  Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales  (CLACSO). Her areas of research and advocacy, both nationally and internationally, focus on judicial politics, access to justice, civic space closure, social protest and policing.  At Dejusticia she works as a researcher in the international area.
