Luis Felipe is a lawyer and sociologist from the National University of Colombia. His research field is the history and development of the armed conflict and its relation with drug trafficking. He works linking the promotion of human rights with criminal procedures and the prison systems. He has also analyzed the quality of life in territories where coca is grown, and the impact of drug policies on access to social rights in coca-growing populations. At the moment, he is part of Dejusticia’s Drug Policy research group, and is part of the coordination team of the Research Consortium of Drugs and the Law (CEDD) .
