D. candidate in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, lawyer from the University of Caldas, Master in Law from the National University and Master in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She was a researcher at Dejusticia in the areas of litigation and transitional justice. She currently coordinates the Fotodiásporas project as part of her research on reparations for victims of the Colombian armed conflict in exile. She has also done research on democracy, populism and constitutional changes in Latin America, with emphasis on the case of Bolivia under the MAS government.
