Mayra Báez is a National University of Colombia politicals scientist. She has more than 10 years of experience innovating with scientists, journalists, designers. academics and tech-experts in the digital communications field. She is the co-founder of the first fully-in-spanish Al Jazeera media outlet, AJ+ Español.

She is meditation trainer at the Heartfulness Institute and is part of Chicas Poderosas. Mayra has won recognitions from Al Jazeera, Univisión, Deutsche Welle, IWMF, The Webby Awards and the 19 Million Project. She coordinates de Communications Area at Dejusticia.
