Rudy Amanda is an Anthropologist from the Universidad del Cauca (2013). She has a Master’s Degree in Sociology from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences – FLACSO, Ecuador (2016). Her research expertise is based on Historical Anthropology, Black Marxisms, Critical Race and Ethnicity Theory, Historical Sociology, Social Movements and Collective Action, Black Feminism, Black Anti-Colonial Republicanism, and Anti-Colonial Theory. She is an independent researcher with experience in ethnographic fieldwork. She is the author of the book (in edition): Black Anti-Colonial Republicanism: Insurgent Historical Narratives on Racial Politics, Land, and Citizenship of Black / Afro-descendant People in Colombia.
