Santiago earned a B.A. in Political Science, a LLB and an M.A. in Law from the Universidad de los Andes. Before joining Dejusticia, he worked as researcher in Programa Congreso Visible on issues such as political analysis of courts and legislative behavior. His interests focus on the empirical studies of courts, their legitimacy and social impact, as well as the influence of civil society in judicial decisions.
He is currently assistant researcher in Dejusticia´s Judicicial System area. His research focuses on access to justice.
