Sebastián studied Social Research and Public Policy with a concentration in Economics at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), in the United Arab Emirates. Before joining Dejusticia, he worked at the Carlos III-Juan March Institute for the Social Sciences at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) studying social movements and political participation in Europe.

He is interested in the conflicts that arise from designing and implementing public policies in a context marked by globalization, climate change, technological transformation and political polarization.

At Dejusticia, he works as a researcher in the Environmental Justice Area.
