Isua-Ikoh, Umo Johnson is a Nigerian Environmentalist & Human Rights activist; Coordinator at the Peace Point Development Foundation (PPDF) — Nigeria’s Environmental, Human Rights and Peace Building advocacy NGO; a member of National Coalition on Gas Flaring and Oil Spills in the Niger Delta (NACGON), and NGO Coalitions on Environment (NGOCE).

Umo is a Graduate of Environmental Protection and Resource Management from the University of Calabar, Cross River State-Nigeria.

He is a Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals (NISP) trained and certified HSE. He is also certified by SPDC in JIV (Joint Investigation Visit) to spill incident sites among others.  Currently, he is the State Secretary, Civil Society on Water and Sanitation (NEWSAN), Cross River State Chapter, Secretary, Cross River Integrated Water Resource Management Coalition (IWRMC) as well as State Coordinator, West African Network for Peace Building (WANEP), Cross River State Chapter.

He monitors and report cases of Gas Flaring and Oil Spills in Oil Impacted communities in Nigeria and his works is widely published by NACGOND.
