Valeria is pursuing a dual major in Political Science and Sociology with a minor in Creative Writing at Stanford University. Valeria’s family is originally Colombian, so she has a vested interest in the intersection of drug policy and transitional justice.

Valeria is also involved in activism, she was the co-author of “Just A Thought”, a book that presents the experiences of adolescents with mental health. She now works as a National Organizer at Asmbl, a new non-profit social network that intends to create a dynamic space for activists.
